Working as a Buying Admin Assistant, you will work as part of a team with bike buyers to deliver an industry leading range of bikes in our stores and on our website.

Reporting to the Head Buyer

Responsibilities

As Buying Admin Assistant you will need to:

  • Place supplier purchase orders to meet customer orders.
  • Create bespoke website content for our range of bikes.
  • Control stock movements between locations to fulfil customer orders.
  • Action store replenishments in line with planned ranging.
  • Liaise with suppliers regarding purchase orders, product queries etc.
  • Assist colleagues with enquiries by email and phone.
  • Book deliveries to our warehouse and communicate with warehouse team.
  • Review stock arrivals and ensure website is updated.
  • Review and adjust purchase order pricing and quantities.
  • Create and review system codes and ensuring accuracy of details.
  • Carry out various daily administrative tasks as requested and deal with various forms of communication, including letters, emails.

Skills/Experience Required

  • Strong administrative and planning skills
  • General education to GCSE grade A-C, or equivalent
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • An eye for detail Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and take ownership of workloads
  • Approachable with excellent interpersonal skills and confidence in communicating with all levels of personnel/stakeholders
  • Conscientious approach to work with the ability to scrutinise and self-critique own work Highly self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision Willingness and enthusiasm to take on new challenges and develop own role
  • The ability to be flexible and evolve with the ever-changing nature of the industries within which we operate
  • Ability to be a team player, while also having the ability to work independently
