Job Description
We are looking for a Bike Mechanic, experienced in a wide range of bikes to join our team in our family run cycle store.
Responsibilities will include repairs, servicing and building of bikes for customers and stock.
Experience with Electric bikes, disc brakes, suspension forks and wheel building is preferred Although qualifications are not essential as these can be gained as part of your employment. Knowledge of EPOS systems an advantage, but training will be given
We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, methodical, confident to speak to customers in person and over the phone and eager to work as part of a team helping out in the shop during busy periods.
The position is full time, working 40 hours per week Tuesday – Saturday 08.30-17.30 with an hour for lunch on a rota with other staff members. There is a staff room for 15 minute breaks, morning and afternoon and lunch
Skills/Experience Required
Cytech qualifications preferred, although personality, attitude and attention to detail is as important
