Job Description 

Tracs (U.K.) Ltd is a Cycle Hire, Retail, Coaching and Repairs companyoperating within Delamere Forest. We are looking primarily for an individual with prior experience of cycle repairs who is, preferably, Cytech accredited andwilling to engage with all aspects of our business, this will involve bicycle servicing, selling to the public and leading groups on Forest trails. 

 

Skills/Experience Required

Requirements 

  • Bike building, servicing, and repairs  

  • Cycle coaching, leading groups of all ages on mountain bike trails (we can provide on the job training to obtain professional accreditation for this role) 

  • Prior experience in the bike industry 

  • Sales of bikes, clothing, and accessories  

  • ICT competency for the utilisation of our stock management systems and processing web orders 

  • Opening and closing of the shop 

  • Willing to work weekends when required 

  • Preferably a qualified driver, but not essential 

  • First aid trained (or willing to learn) 

  • Social media engagement  

  • Answering of telephone and email enquiries 

  • DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) Clearence

Further professional development is available through our in-house provision of the Mountain Bike Instructors Award Scheme (MIAS), hosting of outdoor first aid courses for staff and the opportunity to progress within the Cytech bicycle technicianaccreditation scheme. We have staff parking available and are situated close to the local railway station.
