Job Description

Energise E-bikes is looking for an organised and energetic candidate to manage their Tunbridge Wells showroom.

This position would suit a candidate with some retail and/or managerial experience who is ready to take on a role with a high level of independence and decision-making.

You will be in charge of the day-to-day running of our prestigious electric bike showroom, and while you will liaise with colleagues at our Coulsdon branch, ultimately you will be responsible for the reputation and presentation of your store.

As showroom manager, your primary responsibilities would include:

  • Showroom Environment: Organising the showroom to create an environment that is safe, cared for and under control, and which is also visually appealing to the customer.
  • Inventory Management: Monitoring inventory levels and ensuring that stock is available.
  • Product Knowledge: Studying the features of all products on offer, and keeping up-to-date with technology forthcoming to the market
  • Visual Merchandising: Arranging stock in a manner that is both visually appealing and allows ease of movement.
  • Test Models: Ensuring that test models are set up and in outstanding condition.
  • Sales Training: Training staff in effective sales and communication strategies.
  • Customer Service: Resolving customer problems and maintaining good lines of communication with customers past and present.
  • Communications: You will be required to liaise with customers past and present, representatives from our suppliers and with your colleagues at the Coulsdon branch on a regular basis.
  • Policy Compliance: You will be required to make sure that your store is compliant with company procedures and policies (eg. security, health and safety).

Benefits include 28 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays, a company pension scheme and an industry leading staff purchase scheme and cycle-to-work scheme.

Skills/Experience Required

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following:

  • Some managerial experience, especially in a showroom environment.
