We are looking for bright & enthusiastic sales staff to join our team at Bridgtown Cycles, this will include weekend work and retail experience is essential, preferably in a bike shop and Cytech qualifications would be beneficial.

Duties will include bike, part & accessory sales, the ideal person would be a cyclist themselves and love cycling, be confident, possess excellent communication skills and telephone manner, be polite and courteous, and also have a desire to work as part of a small team continually striving to keep improving our long established business.

Our aim is to offer cyclists a local hub for all their cycling needs, including a Coffee bar area for re-fuelling whilst out for a ride!

Relevant training will be provided along with staff benefits including a staff purchase scheme.

• Engaging and assisting customers with all retail purchases
• Managing sales, quotes and follow up calls with customers
• Driving sales by effectively understanding the customer’s needs and presenting appropriate solutions
• Understanding product knowledge to answer customer queries properly
• Always provide excellent customer service
• Product demonstrations where necessary
• Presenting and maintaining the store to an exceptional high standard
• Checking stock levels
• Good organisational skills and time management as working on own initiative is essential
