Job Description
We are inviting applications from experienced workshop mechanics who are ambitious and enthusiastic.
Our business, which is now in its 12th year, has been built on the reputation of our workshop. This is something which we take great pride in. Our workshop standards are high and only individuals who can work professionally, accurately and demonstrate genuine pride in the job will succeed with us. You will be the kind of person who always strives to deliver above and beyond customer expectations.
The position is 40 hours a week over 5 days including alternate Saturdays (currently closed Sunday but this may change in future). More regular Saturday work may be required in the summer months.
As a small team of 4 in a very busy shop, you need to be accountable and show initiative. Our bright, spacious and well equipped workshop receives a wide variety of bikes for repair and service, from commuter bikes, to high end road and MTB, including e-bikes.
At times you will be required to support the team in our retail space. You need to be the kind of person who will embrace that (with support and training) and enjoy working with customers and delivering excellent service. However, your main focus will be within the workshop where you will work alongside the Workshop Manager performing repairs and PDI’ing sold bikes. We stock models from Ridgeback, Merida, Orbea, Saracen and Genesis.
There is scope for the right individual to expand and develop their role as the business grows. Start 2020 by joining our energetic and committed team.
