New digital product discovery platform Buyerdock searches for indie retail volunteers for free trials

Posted on in Business News, Cycles News

buyerdock_logoBuyerdock, the new online platform to help buyers find exciting new shelf ready products, have now opened the platform to independent retailers.

2020 has exaggerated what we know has been happening for years. Major brand owners and retailers have slowly bought up the supply chain to dominate consumer choice. The wholesalers that brought independent retailers something different have all but gone.

And now with travel restrictions and trades fairs cancelled, the only way of sourcing new brands is on-line; google, amazon. The trade associations help, but this frustration is shared not just by independent retailers but manufacturers the world over.

How is a German manufacturer with that different (potential) ‘footfall' product, able to get to your front door? Everything is source able through the internet, but to have one platform one location, to source, make inquires (complying with all local regulation) and request samples, will save you time.

Buyerdock; the digital product discovery platform has been developed over the past two years, through discussions with retailers and sellers from the UK, Europe and the USA and during the first lockdown funding was raised to develop the test platform (or Beta stage).

Sign up to take part in the initial trials

Buyerdock is now looking for independent retailers to test the platform and feedback on its functionality.

Launching (by invitation) in February with over 100 brands, the platform is now open to independent retailers to sign up today (or email contact@buyerdock.com) and take part in the initial trials.

Jonathan Sparkes, CEO of Buyerdock, commented: "Independent retail has always been the backbone of the UK high street, we want every High Street to have something different to the large multiples, if the IRC members are happy to contribute their feedback, we're pleased to offer 20 IRC members, 3 years free access to Buyerdock"

The first 20 retailers who sign up will be given 3 years subscription to the Buyerdock platform completely free.
