Report on violence in your store
Posted on in Business News, Cycles News
The Association of Convenience Stores (ACS) and the Home Office have been campaigning to raise awareness of violence and abuse towards retailers to encourage action and change.
It is fundamental that all retailers take this opportunity to inform the Home Office of the extent and effects of violence in stores and within the retail industry so that they can look at effective ways to tackle it.
To respond, retailers can use the ACS' quick and easy online template which will be submitted to the government on your behalf. You can also send your individual accounts of violence or abuse to the Home Office directly via retailcrimeconsultation@homeoffice.gov.uk.
The ACS in support of the #AlwaysReportAbuse campaign will be making the case for more time, money and resources to be invested into preventing violence.
The deadline to submit evidence is the 28th of June 2019.
Submit your evidence now.
