I have been a Soap Maker of natural cold processed soap for over 12 years. I have been running Hogwash for 7 years and have had a shop for the past 4 years in Torrington, Devon.
I started Hogwash as a business selling to everyone but the products are suitable for sensitive skin and excema. Rather fed up with not being able to use gorgeous luxury products on my own excema prone skin I developed the Hogwash range of soap, washes and moisture creams. I sell online on my own website and on 2 other platforms (Etsy and The British Craft House). I also have a stall at the regular summer Craft Market in Croyde Devon.
I bought this shop and live above it. The layout is ideal for making soap and the shop front gives me the opportunity to not only sell Hogwash but also other local crafts and art. It is very important to me that I support local makers as this area is not wealthy.
One of our services is bespoke gift boxes sent worldwide and with the customers message. This was very popular in lockdown and is a great alternative to flowers. The boxes can contain anything I sell in the shop
I run soap and bath bomb making courses on request, and also host other Makers workshops here.
