Obeid Galleries & Events can be found on the first floor of 6 Crown Street, above Abda Ltd.
Obeid Galleries & Events started off as part of Abda Ltd. It was a creative addition to the main coffeeshop, situated on the first floor.
We soon realised that this was becoming a huge part of the creative scene in Northwich, with exhibitions every few weeks to keep up with demand and a waiting list for room hire and use of the art space.
The decision was taken in April 2019 to re-launch this part of the business under its own branding and as its own limited company.
We are now Obeid Galleries & Events.
In May 2019 we kicked off the re-launch with a huge exhibition, Manchester Made Me, and were officially opened by Mark Radcliffe.
Obeid Galleries loves to celebrate the unique, creative culture of Northwich, our goal is to help emerging artists on the road to bigger commercial success. We do this by having the lowest commission prices in the Northwest, no submission fees and working with local shops like the Northwich Art Shop, Loss Insurance, and Warrington Framers to put them on the right road to success.
As for our space for hire, we created a multi-use space that is suitable for a whole host of events and bookings. Our light, bright and recently refurbished creative space is used most days and nights throughout the week for classes such as Yoga, Pilates, Crafts and networking for Artists and local businesses.
On the events side of our business, we work with a whole range of Northwich based businesses to deliver outstanding and well organised events across all sectors of business. This include Q&A sessions with celebrities, artists exhibition launch events and Health and Safety seminars.
