Uptons of Bassett was originally a traditional butcher shop, selling locallly sourced meats, Last year we added a small bistro, using the products made in the shop, i.e. The breakfast uses our sausages, our black pudding, and the bacon we cure and smoke too.
We specialise in beef and all our steaks are well aged, and labelled with age of the animal, bred, farmer, and how long the beef has been aged.
Part of the bistro idea, is that if you want to choose a steak, we can cut a steak of your liking and size, we charge you a 'steakage fee' then cook it and serve it with two salads.
