We launched Vape and Juice in 2014 as we saw that the only places to buy Ecigarettes were from petrol stations. When you need to have a thorough understanding of a huge range of products and find the right item for a consumer, that conversation wasn't and couldn't be had in a petrol station.
We wanted to create a shop focused around customer service values, we considered the shoppers experience as far back as day one in the colour scheme, the rejection of window clutter and carry it on today with our plastics return scheme that gives money back to vapers who bring in their empties. We have an omni-channel loyalty scheme and we run a policy of replying to any customer service email within 1 hour in weekdays.
Our webchat is run by humans and never bots. We know that in a changing marketplace for retail we aren't simply selling Ecigarettes, we are selling time and advice.
Our store's growth has meant we were able to fund staff to have their own franchised stores. This gives those members of the team the chance to grow but keeps them in the circle too.
As we focus on our online offering we have now begun a sameday delivery service called Vaperun.com
