Having moved to a new store 9 months ago we have been able to categories product areas from E-Bikes, an area seeing the highest growth, Children's / Hybrid area, Mountain and Road Bike sector, Clothing area with changing room and a relaxed entrance area with free tea and coffee provision. We spent 12 months planning the layout to meet customer requirements for the next 5 years to ensure a relaxed and informative products areas. Customer re-actions has been more than favourable with great feedback and the key ingredient is the increase in sales for 2020 against the same period 2019 but maintaining a healthy sales margin over 3 years.Brands selection in all categories' to ensure we have an efficient stock churn and not dead stock and this all supported by employees with over 10 years service in the company. We have a selection of special offers/promotions always to attract that purchase
Tell us how you engage with the local community
We work with locals companies and ensure we optimise our purchases and this includes our workwear which is from a local store. We will always support/promote ourselves through raffle prizes with local schools and community projects. We actively participate in the Wallingford Cycle Festival providing free safety inspections and adjustment on bikes which also ensures they are safe during the races. We provide special E-Bike/Trike events which helps many with a focus on elderly and disabled to keep them active and riding. From April 2020 we are starting a beginners riding event on a Saturday morning switching alternative weeks from Road to Mountain/Hybrid bikes to cover all categories of cyclists. We pride ourselves on being the old established family business to cater for cycling categories but with a modern twist in technology, skills and experienceKey Services
