The marmalade sold in the Proper Marmalade Shop is made on the premises, and every variety is available for tasting.
Open 3 afternoons a week from 1-5pm while the jars made earlier are labelled and boxed for dispatch to other retail establishments.
The marmalade shop is a front facing outlet for the Proper Marmalade Company which has won numerous awards from World Marmalade, Great Taste and Taste of the West.
On the front edge of marmalade making and appealing to 2 different demographics with traditional 'proper' and non traditional marmalades incorporating ingredients as diverse as tamarind or chocolate 'improper'
The shop is happy to open by prior agreement to marmalade lovers
