Job Description

Would you like to work in the Lake District or do you already and are looking to head up your own workshop.  E-Venture Bikes are looking for a keen individual to manage the Bike build, service and repairs department in our new shop in Keswick.

E-Venture Bikes was started in September 2016 and through its success in bikes sales and rentals, we opened a new shop with service centre in April, offering  a complete package to our new and already existing customers.

We specialise in selling and renting premium E-Bikes from Haibike, Focus, Bergamont, KTM, Kalkhoff and Scott.  Our shop also offers its service to non e-bikers selling all accessories as well as servicing and repairing all bikes including road, MTB, hybrids and e-bikes.

Our main ethos is customer satisfaction and pride ourselves in high levels of customer service. Our customers receive tailored recommendations according to their specific needs and we stock products that we believe offer genuine value and benefit.

We are looking to recruit a proactive and hardworking Workshop Manager/Mechanic responsible for running an efficient workshop that exceeds our customers’ needs through effective planning and continual training and development.

In addition to bike building, PDI, service and repairs, day to day, you would be accountable for reporting, assisting with targeting, costs, and workshop processes and systems. You will have the opportunity to develop and implement systems and tools to continually improve the efficiency of the workshop and the service it delivers to customers. You’ll also be involved in developing local business plans to attract new business in cycle service and repair. You may also be required to help out on the shop floor when necessary.

We look forward to the right candidate taking their place in our small, dynamic team and helping the brand and business to grow.

Salary is highly competitive and will reflect experience.
