Job Description

You will be assisting our head mechanic in our ebike service department. 

Ideally you will have previous experience working in a bicycle service environment, but this is not 100% essential if you can demonstrate skills you have that will make you a good person to join us. 

This is a hands-on job requiring bicycle builds, repairs, telephone support and various other bicycle tech-support duties.

You need to work with pace and precision, to ensure the daily service targets are met, and delivered to a high standard.

The role involves dealing with, prioritising and replying to customer technical questions (via email and phone) - so you need to be organised and competent at managing administrative tasks. 


This role is available for an immediate start.

If you don't meet all the criteria above, but do enjoy cycling, have a techincal mindset,  and understand the mechanics of a bicycle then we'd be happy to hear from you. 

Skills/Experience Required

  • Experience:

    • Experience within a bicycle service environment, or someone who has hands on experience and a good understanding of bicycles 
    • Ebike experience and knowledge useful
    • Able to work on and service bicycles
    • Comfortable with technology and using computers to at least a basic level (email / word etc)

    Personal attributes:

    • A practical thinker, motivated, organised and able to demonstrate common sense in all tasks undertaken.
    • Strong attention to detail
    • A good communicator - you’ll be expected to liaise with customers, as well as provide clear information / instructions to over the phone to people.
    • Approachable character with a strong work ethic.
    • Being well organised is critical - this is a busy role with multiple things to keep on top of
    • Good timekeeping
    • Takes pride in your work and general work ethos
