About Us
Wicked Bikes is a fast-growing bicycle workshop and retail space based in Hackney Wick, within the vibrant Hackney Bridge canalside development.
We operate across two units and are proud to be one of the busiest and most established bike shops in the local area. With increasing demand and a rapidly expanding neighbourhood, we are looking to strengthen our team with an experienced and reliable mechanic.
We are a small, tight-knit team that values efficiency, quality workmanship, and a positive working environment.
The Role
We are looking for a skilled and confident bicycle mechanic who can work independently in a fast-paced environment.
This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable handling a high volume of repairs and can maintain a high standard of work under pressure.
You will mainly focus on:

Quick repairs and walk-in jobs

Supporting workshop workflow

Preparing refurbished bikes for resale

Assisting during busy periods, especially weekends
What We’re Looking For
-
Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in bicycle repairs

Strong technical ability across a wide range of bikes
-
Ability to work independently without supervision
-
Comfortable working in a busy, customer-facing environment
-
Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
-
Cytech qualification is a plus, but not essential
Skills/Experience Required
Important
This is a fast-paced shop, and we are looking for someone who can hit the ground running.
You will be working alongside a workshop manager who handles all customer interaction, bookings, and payments — allowing you to focus primarily on repairs and productivity.
