HUDJO: the bike parking app helping the cycle trade increase their revenue

Posted on in Business News, Cycles News

AccordingHUDJO to Cycling UK, business booms by 30% when people cycle to the high street. But they need somewhere to park.

You can attract cyclists directly to your door by offering secure bike parking via the app HUDJO.

The app gives cyclists easy access to a network of friendly local businesses who provide secure and affordable bike parking.

Who are the HUDJO hosts?

Cycle shops, workshops, cafés, festivals or events. Anybody who wants to facilitate bike parking with simplicity while making some money!

Make great money

You set charges at between 0.01 - 0.05 GBP per minute. 80% of this fee goes to you. Each parking slot could earn you between £1000 - £5000 a year with 60% occupancy (occupancy rate based on 10 hour day).

You set the number of bike slots available. It’s all about convenience: if you’ve a small unit, you can offer two slots; if you’ve a cycle event, offer 50.

HUDJO offers full flexibility to the host. You control the number of spaces, the available times and how much you charge per minute (between 1 - 5p). Simply, you can increase your business revenue with little extra effort.

The app makes it easy to generate money from dead floor space, an empty corner of the storeroom, or those shiny bike racks gathering dust.

How does it work?

  1. You choose the number of parking spaces and the times they are available
  2. Cyclists check-in via the app for anything from a few minutes to a full day
  3. Your staff manage the checking in and out process using the HUDJO app
  4. Cyclists pay in-app via Stripe and you receive your revenue at the end of each month
