In celebration of Local Bike Shop Day, TfL have shared the following blog posts with the aim of showing new cyclists all that London has to offer.

How to repair a cycle - Meet Jenni. She grew up in San Diego, California but later moved to London. She turned her love for cycling into a career by starting the London Bike Kitchen - an organisation that helps people repair their own cycles, with the help of mechanics, to get them back on the road.

Expert tips for new cyclists - Meet Jacqui. She started cycling on her paper round at 10 year's old. Today, she's a London cycle instructor, cycle buddy, and runs free social rides for British Cycling's Breeze program. Check out her tips for getting started, staying safe and feeling confident cycling in London.

How I mastered my cycling anxiety - Meet Aisling. When they moved to London in 2014, they didn't think cycling was an option. It was intimidating - something that other people did.
