Independents' Day weekend is taking place from 2-3 July 2022. It's designed for retailers and all those that manage places across the UK.

To celebrate Maybe* have got a tailor-made competition you can share across social media to encourage your customers to shop indie. Ten lucky winners will score £100 to spend. It works for EVERY independent retailer in every location in the UK. Here's how you can get involved.

How to get involved with the Independents' Day competition

We want to reward shoppers who spend locally over Independents' Day weekend with an incentive. To enter they need to follow Local Rewards on Instagram and show us what they've bought from an Independent Retailer.

But, you don't need to worry about doing the heavy lifting or the funding as we've created a killer comp in partnership with Independents' Day UK and the UK's Social Media Competitions expert, Di Coke. AKA "Super Lucky Di".

The competition is ready for you to share and comes complete with all the terms and conditions, social posts for you to share and we're funding the prizes. All you need to do is promote the competition and encourage your followers to enter by sharing the post which details all the ways they can enter.

There are a few ways you can easily share the Independents Day competition to your own social media followers to help get the message out. Here we break them down for you.
